Our free eBay & auction template maker is very simple and user friendly. It's one of the easiest ways to create cool looking auction listings and HTML brochures. Combined with CSS (cascading style sheet), it makes it easier to edit the design of the template.
Where do I begin?
It's simple ladies and gentlemen. I have programmed this auction tool to be a WYSIWYG (what you see is what you get) type of HTML editor. You MUST have JavaScript enabled in order for this generator to work.
Background Tab
Simply choose the color of your background via the pop-up color hex chart or insert the link path to image URL in the "Image URL" box and click "set". You can then position the background image, repeat horizontal or vertical, and scroll or fix. Set it on scroll and when you scroll down the web browser the image will scroll as well. If you set it to fix, the image will stay fixed to that position on the page.
Sections Tab
This area is where your auction description and content is placed. Keep in mind the contrast level with the font color so you don't have black font on black section (nobody will be able to see it). You can also design a border from the credentials provided.
Title Tab
This will be the style of your auction title. It's always a good idea to create this larger than the rest of the text in the listing.
Headings Tab
This section creates the style for the "Payment" "Shipping & Policy" text. It's a good idea to keep it smaller than the title but larger than the descriptive text on the page.
Text Tab
This section controls the style of the descriptive text that you have the option to enter in the text area form provided. Keep in mind that the text area form will not show until you click to generate the html code for your auction!
Links Tab
This section controls the style of the links. It helps to create the "on hover" effects of the link as well. Remember to keep your links a different color than the plain text on the page to inform users that "this is a link".
Did I mention you can also use this auction template maker for Craigs List?
